Founded as a family business in March 1984 the company is still run by Managing Director Wilson Simms and his wife, Company Secretary, Audrey Simms. Opening in Small premises on Warley Rd, rapid expansion enabled them to move their current home on Battison Road in April 1991. Continued growth throughout the intervening years has seen the need for more floor space and earlier this year an additional 8000 square feet has been added to Simms warehousing.

Traditional wholesaler values of service, competitive values of service, competitive pricing and good stocks are part and parcel of the Simms operation and this has tended to set them apart from their competitors. Simms Electrical  Distributors  Ltd care deeply about their image in the marketplace and our proud to offer  customers throughout the UK   "next day  carriage service" on many non-stock items. In addition to this their delivery vehicles work flat out every day visiting customers around the M62 corridor in locations  such as Leeds, Bradford,  Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Manchester, Oldham, and Stockport.

Working closely with their suppliers, Simms can offer solutions to most installation requirements from initial power distribution to in-house lighting design and an emphasis on quality products means that Simms Electrical can provide a level of service and reliability which is second to none.
